Catching Up: New Zealand No. 3






These photos are from a walk I took with my mom around an abandoned wharf just down the street from the bach we were staying in.  The chipped paint, bold colors, and rogue fishermen with bottles in paper bags were melancholy in that beautiful way.  The last photo is a candid one my mom snapped, and I love it because I can see the glimmer of happiness coming back after a long hard winter.

  2. those colours are just so pretty...i especially love how everything echoes everything else; the palette is taken from the sea itself. (and that sign is so funny!)
